The selection of an interpreter for an interpreting service requires great care and a considerable amount of detailed information about the task. To ensure your translation is as accurate as possible, please help the process by specifying the following in your request:

• the date, time, and duration of the appointment
• location
• the professional field
• linguistic conditions (acronyms, technical language or other aspects of the field that require particular, specialist attention)
• the size of any audience the text may be presented to, details about of the given room or conference room
• the nationality of the lecturers

When you submit your order, please forward any auxiliary materials related to the subject at hand, and if possible, references to websites that may help interpreters to prepare for the task. Don’t leave it until the last minute to organise simultaneous interpreting, as the success or failure of your event might depend on it. If possible, contact us at least 2 weeks before the event!

Process of placing the order

We receive orders placed with the KFI Fordítóiroda at our central office in Budapest. Our customers can contact our agency personally or can send us their orders by e-mail. We welcome jobs where order form is completed and sent to us, but we are also happy to accept orders sent by email without the form. These are governed by our general terms and conditions. Any further consultations can be carried out personally, by e-mail or over the phone.
